As a Pilot Software user, you now have the option to subscribe to a service that
is not just about software, but an improved maintenance model with
hands-on accountability.
As a PilotCover subscriber, your business enjoys the immediate benefits of:
- No contracts; if you are not satisfied you can cancel your PilotCover plan at any time;
- 10% discount on all training courses;
- 5% discount on all stationery purchases;
- One proactive site visit per month, including call out and labour charges, worth R1, 199. This includes:
- Cleanout of all hardware;
- Full system backups;
- Anti-virus checks & updates;
- System software upgrades (where applicable);
- System re-registration with 6-month key;
- Product assistance;
- Free additional on-site support including all labour and call-out costs;
- Priority call-outs;
- Free loan stock, where such loan stock is in temporary replacement of items supplied by Pilot and determined to be faulty;
- Automated access to our Priority Support Line;
- Unlimited telephonic, e-mail and remote support, 24/7/365;
- Annual on-site audit of all equipment.
Enhancing your Pilot Software experience
From now on, the maintenance of your mission critical software solution
won’t be an ad hoc cost. Instead, you’ll be investing in dedicated
support, a partnership that ensures you keep getting the very best out
of Pilot Software. Moreover, by moving to a monthly debit order, your PilotCover
subscription becomes a consistent, predictable budget item.
Cost and Payments
- The monthly cost of PilotCover, exclusive of VAT, is:
- Seven hundred and seventy rand (R770) base server cost,
- Plus seventy rand (R70), per PoS terminal,
- Plus three rand sixty (R3.60) travel per km;
- The monthly charges (except for travel) will be deducted by way of debit order from the account of the Customer in arrears on the 15th or
28th day of each month;
- Travel charges will be billed per site visit and are payable COD;
- PilotCover is conditional on our standard debit order instruction form being completed;
Terms and Conditions
- We provide support in the form of telephonic, email and web based support. If such support proves insufficient for the purposes of solving
Customers problem, then such Customer will receive on-site support at only the cost of travel;
- Accommodation costs of R600 per night excluding VAT will apply for sites in excess of 100 km from a Pilot office;
- This agreement may be cancelled by us on twenty four hours notice, in which case we will reimburse the Customer the pro rata portion of
any amount already paid by the Customer in respect of any month in which the agreement is so cancelled;
- Loan stock is only provided on condition of acceptance of our repair quote in respect of items no longer in their warranty period. Loan
stock will automatically be provided for goods still in warranty and supplied by Pilot Software;
- All charges for PilotCover are over and above any existing license or rental fees;
